20 Reviews For This Extension
This is good extension please don't remove this one it help me a lot for my studies to download easily all I need content for offline studies
do not see option to convert the viideo into gif, it oy downloads the video into mp4 format
It was a good extension before it stopped working, It downloads videos just fine but when it comes to gifs it doesnt download it all the way so it looks like it is missing some frames when it is done downloading
With the way internet is deteriorating, ability to save feed media is a godsend. Most media only exists in closed platforms and preservation of content is critical. You're doing amazing work keeping this extension alive, the years I've been using it have improved my twitter experience and I hope you will stick around for many more years to come Edit 2025-01: And then along came Chrome and killed half the extensions for dumb reasons. Please find it in you to update the extension to work on latest Chrome browser. Thank you.
Had to hop on my alt to leave another review, thank you for fixing it I love you. Its telling me the extension might not be supported anymore soon tho, please don't leave me..
thanks so much for fixing this boss
It works again, thank you!
Yup, stopped working due to Deprecated Mutation events.....
button not showing
rip twitter media assist :'(
The button doesn't appear in any view.
the ui becomes buggy on gifs on the new twitter media page (which allows you to open gifs as you could regular images when you click on them) but still works fine
This was a very useful extension, but recently stopped working properly: MP4s are incomplete and have no sound. Can you fix that please?
I'm using it to download videos in mp4 format, it works well till this review date 12-11-2023. Thanks for this helpful tool. Keep the good work up!
EDIT 2: It seems to be working again! There might be a few edge cases left, but after using this extension again, every mp4 has had sound so far. PREFACE: I would normally rate this extension 4/5, and I'm sure that the problem that I'm experiencing isn't the developer's fault since this happens with other twitter video downloaders, but I'd like to call attention to the problem. For some reason, the every video I have downloaded recently, whether through this, TwitterVideoDownloader, or SSSTwitter, has no audio in VLC media player. It DOES store an audio file, but it can only be heard if opened in a browser. This, understandably, has lowered my enjoyment of this extension considerably. I hope that it's just a simple fix, because I really like this extension, and I don't want to have to jump through hoops just to download a single video again. Again, I'd like to say: *everything else about Twitter Media Assist works normally.* I'd still recommend this over pretty much every other extension. There's rarely an image I can't download; it even allows you to get MULTIPLE videos from a single tweet (that one Twitter Blue subscription-only feature). But without sound, that feature is only useful for GIFs.
GODSENT EXTENSION!!!!! o(〃^▽^〃)o
Great extension but it would be great if you could add the option to copy video link and to download the entire backlog of a twitter user. Thank you!
good , no 1.
it's work. Thanks.
Extension is working as intended, however, every image downloaded is now being saved as: "(name).jpg.jpg" With a .jpg suffix being included in the file name, as well as being the file type.
